6. Option
“Additional Housing”
In order to obtain additions space for hiding power supply, PoE splitter or any
kind of cables, an optional additional housing is available.
The additional housing is made of 2 parts, which fit into each other. The rear
part of the housing (fixed to walls or VESA mounts) provides mounting holes,
VESA 100 and cable passes (round in the middle, oval at the lower side).
Power supplies, PoE Splitter or other devices can be fixed to the inner part of
the rear part of the housing.
The front part of the additional housing uses the VESA 75 holes to be fixed to
the rear side of TI-890. Cable and connectors can easily pass through to the
I/O plate of TI-890. An extra hole allows as well access to the security screw at
the rear part of TI-890. This allows opening of TI-890, while part of the
additional housing is still fixed to TI-890.
The 2 parts of the additional housing fit into each other and will be secured by
3 screws (left, right, bottom).

Option “PoE Power Supply”
To provide power to TI-890 via LAN, an appropriate PoE-Splitter can be used
instead of the power supply. It is important, that the Splitter, in conjunction with
PoE Injector / PoE Switch, fulfils the 802.3 at standard. This standard is also
called the “PoE+” standard.
By using PoE as power source, the requirements are +5.5V DC ±10% and
>15Watt. The PoE Splitter / PoE Switch have to provide this power
requirement for each connected TI-890 system (port).
