Using the User Dictionary
The device has a built-in user dictionary, allowing users to add words to it.
To add words to the dictionary, perform the following:
1. On the Home Screen, touch > Settings >
Language & input .
2. Touch Personal dictionary .
3. To add words to the dictionary, touch .
4. Type the word to add to the dictionary.
5. Touch
OK .
6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 to add more words.
7. Touch
to return to the Home screen.
To modify a word in the dictionary, perform the following:
1. On the Home Screen, touch > Settings >
Language & input .
2. Touch Personal dictionary .
3. Touch the word to edit.
4. Modify the word, then touch
OK .
5. Repeat steps 3 to 4 to modify more words.
6. Touch
to return to the Home screen.
To delete a word from the dictionary, perform the following:
1. On the Home Screen, touch > Settings >
Language & input .
2. Touch Personal dictionary .
3. Touch next to the word to delete.
The word is removed from the dictionary.
4. Repeat steps 3 to delete more words.
5. Touch
to return to the Home screen.
