NanoPlus Operator’s Manual

Using the Software

Mar 2014

Main Menu

The Main menu bar and its drop-down menu items also contain commands. The commands
available are based on the Security settings, as well as the current operation. Functions are self-
explanatory.

File

Contains functions relating primarily to data files; save, print, and so on.
Also contains the

Log In/Out

and

Exit

functions.

Display

Allows you to view parameters in the

Normal

or

Advanced

mode (see

Specifying the SOP Designer Display Mode,

).

Run

The commands displayed on this menu are dependent on the current
operation.

SOP Designer

and

Data Acquisition

commands: Primarily for starting

and stopping measurements.

Size/Zeta Analysis commands

: For recalculating and overlay

Maintenance

command: For backing up files shown in the Data Select

Panel.

SOP

Contains the functions for managing SOPs. Shown when you are using
the SOP Designer.

Audit Trail

Provides audit trails for errors encountered as well as pH calibrations.
Also contains Operation and Parameter audit trails when the CFR Part 11
option is enabled. Refer to

Viewing Audit Trails,

Help

Displays options for locating information and printing the operator’s
manual, as well as product information.
