Remove the sealing rubber strips.

Remove the top cover screws.

Remove the top cover.

Remove the locking pulley retaining plate screws and remove the front and rear

locking pulley assemblies.

Check the top cover for cracks or damage. Replace it if necessary.

Check the sealing rubber strip for cracks or damage. Replace it if necessary.

Check the top cover muffler cover for cracks or damage. Replace it if necessary.

Check the locking pulley assembly for cracks, deformation or damage. Replace it if

necessary.
