Changing tools
Your cordless screwdriver has a fully automatic
spindle lock
.
When the motor is stopped, the power train locks
so that the quick-release chuck can be opened
by turning it
. After you have attached the
desired tool and tightened it by turning the chuck
, you can continue working. The spindle lock is
automatically released when the motor starts
(ON/OFF switch pressed).
2-speed gearbox
CAUTION!
► Operate the speed selector only when
the appliance is at a standstill. Otherwise the
appliance can be damaged.
In first gear (speed selector in position: 1)
you can reach a speed of approx. 350 rpm and a
high torque. This setting is suitable for all screwing
jobs.
In second gear (speed selector in position: 2)
you can reach a speed of approx. 1300 rpm for
carrying out drilling work.
Removing the chuck
If you want to use the bit adapter , you must
remove the quick-release chuck .
Removing the chuck:
♦ Hold the quick-release chuck firmly from the
front.
♦ Pull/push the chuck ring 10a in the direction of
the quick-release chuck .
The quick-release chuck is now unlocked and
can be removed towards the front.
Attaching the quick-release chuck:
♦ To replace the quick-release chuck , pull the
chuck ring

towards the quick-release chuck
. Push the quick-release chuck over the bit
adapter . Let go of the chuck ring

to click
the quick-release chuck into place.
NOTE
► If the quick-release chuck does not
automatically click into place, turn the chuck
ring
10a
.
Using the bit adapter
After removing the quick release chuck , you can
use the bit adapter .
♦ Insert a suitable bit into the bit adapter .
♦ Push the bit into the bit adapter as far as the
stop.
The guidance and the magnetic holder keep the
bit firmly in place.
♦ Pull the bit out of the bit adapter .
Torque selection ring/drill setting
You can set the torque using the torque selection
ring .
♦ Select a low level for small screws or soft
materials.
♦ Select a high level for large screws, hard materi-
als or removing screws.
♦ Select the drill setting for drilling work by
adjusting the torque selection ring to the
position .
♦ Push the speed selector forward for drilling
work (position: 2).
