Make sure that no detergent residue remains in
the appliance. If necessary, rinse it again with
water.

Clean the filter plate

thoroughly under
running water.

Remove the high-pressure hose

connecting thread

using an adjustable
spanner. Counter the connection thread

using a second adjustable spanner.

Dip the inlet valve

into a container filled with
approx. 250 ml of conservation agent (a fine,
acid- and resin-free oil, e.g. Shell Corena
S2 P 68/P 100/P 150) so that it can be sucked
in (see fig. M).
♦
Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
♦
Turn the function switch
e
to the vertical posi-
tion (PRIME).
♦
Hold a cloth in front of the connecting thread
r
(see fig. N). Turn the pressure regulator dial
3
to position 1 for about 30–60 seconds. This
helps to preserve the appliance. The oil is
discharged again through the outlet of the
return hose

. Turn the pressure regulator
dial
3
to position 0 (off).

Remove the plug from the mains socket.
♦
Then dismantle the paint spray gun

and
remove the HEA filter
q
in the handle

. If
necessary, clean all of the components of the
spray gun again using a brush. Oil all of the
parts with a fine, acid- and resin-free oil, and
store the oiled parts in a dust-proof location.
♦
Before using the appliance again, rinse it
thoroughly with warm water to remove any
oil residues.
