Troubleshooting
The following table will help you to identify and rectify minor malfunctions:
Fault Possible cause Remedy
No indication on the
display
.
No battery inserted. Insert a battery.
Battery is empty. Replace the battery.
The appliance is in standby
mode. Press the button to
activate.
Water flow rate is insufficient
or the display value does not
change.
Turbine unit is dirty.
Clean the turbine unit
under running water.
Cleaning
Cleaning the appliance
CAUTION
► To avoid irreparable damage to the appliance, ensure that no moisture can penetrate into
the battery compartment during cleaning.
► Do not use caustic, abrasive or solvent-based cleaning materials. These can damage the
surfaces of the appliance.
♦ Clean the surfaces of the appliance with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly
damp cloth with a little mild detergent.
Cleaning the turbine unit
♦ Unscrew the coupling including the tap connector from the appliance.
♦ Remove the sealing rings from the coupling and the tap connector . Clean the
sealing rings , the inside of the coupling and the tap connector under running
water. Replace the sealing rings in the coupling and in the tap connector .
♦ Remove the turbine unit from the appliance and pull the turbine unit apart.
