Removal:
♦
Pull off the dust extraction device hose .
♦
Pull the dust extraction adapter off (and also
the reducer , if attached) .
Operation
Switching on and off
While operating the belt sander, you can choose
between instantaneous and continuous operation .
Switching to instantaneous operation:
♦
Press the ON/OFF switch .
Switching off instantaneous operation:
♦
Release the ON/OFF switch .
Adjusting the rotational speed (instantaneous
operation)
Press the ON/OFF switch lightly for a low
speed . Increasing the pressure increases the speed .
Switching to continuous operation:
♦
Press the ON/OFF switch , keep it pressed
in and then press the lock button .
Switching off continuous operation:
♦
Press the ON/OFF switch and then release
it .
Selecting speed and abrasive belt
(continuous operation)
You can use the speed preselector wheel to
adjust the speed, while the appliance is running
(– = lower speed, + = higher speed) . The optimum
belt speed is dependent on the workpiece or ma-
terial being processed . We recommend carrying out
a practice run to determine the correct speed . In
the table below, you will find some recommended
values which will help you determine which belt
and speed to use for which job .
