2.4 – Pump Operation: boost pressure requirements
In case the motor is used as a pump or driven by the load (even for short time) it is necessary to ensure an
adequate boost pressure to the inlet line.
The diagrams relevant to the minimum boost pressure required by the motor when working as a pump can
be found in the “Technical Catalogue” of the series the motor belongs to.
The hydraulic circuit has to be built so that to protect the motor from insufficient
boosts pressure. The two circuits below are just general examples to how to solve the
problem.
