BBT-30.4 Bottom Bracket Bearing Tool Set
The Park Tool BBT-30.4 Bottom Bracket Bearing Tool Set is designed for installation and removal of the bearings used in BB30, PressFit 30 (PF30), PF121,
EVO 386, and BBright™ bottom bracket systems. The BBT-30.4 includes a bearing removal tool and two bushings, which are used in conjunction with a Park
Tool Bearing Cup Press (HHP-2 or HHP-3) to press the bearings into the bottom bracket shell.

Bearing Removal
1. Guide head of removal tool through bottom bracket
shell and into opposite side bearing. Note: If the
bottom bracket uses a snap ring as a stop for the
bearing, orient removal tool so it does not strike the
snap ring.
2. Engage plastic guide.
3. Tap end of handle with a hammer to remove bearing.
4. Repeat steps 1 – 3 on opposite side of bottom
bracket shell to remove second bearing.
Bearing Installation
1. Assemble installation bushings, bottom bracket
bearings, bottom bracket shell, and headset press
as shown.
2. Turn handle of bearing cup press, making sure
the bushings, bearings, and bottom bracket shell
stay aligned. Continue pressing until each bearing
bottoms against the stop (a snap ring or machined
stop) inside the bottom bracket shell.
