6. Slide the weight plates onto the guide
rods.
7. After installing all of the weights, slide the
TOP PLATE/SELECTOR BAR back onto the
guide rods. Make sure that the weight
stack selector pin holder on the TOP
PLATE faces the user. Tilt the GUIDE RODS
back to vertical and re-assemble the two
GUIDE ROD RETAINER SLEEVES and PULL
PINS.
8. On the XL2-0200, re-assemble the
hardware removed in STEP 5. Assemble
as shown in the diagram. Slide the sleeve
into the second hole in the selector bar.
Attach the second weight to the selector
bar.
9. If you ordered the XL2 Optional Adder Weight Kit, INSTALL IT NOW. Otherwise proceed to the
next step. Refer to the assembly instructions included with the Adder Weight Kit.
10. Check to make sure that the cable is
tracking in all of the pulleys and that the TOP
PLATE is sitting flush on the 1st weight plate.
Adjust the tension in the cable with the CABLE
BOLT so that the TOP PLATE barely lifts off of
the first weight plate. Cycle the machine with
a light weight to ensure that the movement is
smooth. VERIFY that the SELECTOR PIN can
be inserted into each weight plate. If the
SELECTOR PIN does not insert freely, loosen
the cable tension slightly.
