Model  How to unlock axis… 

 

Remove the locking shoulder bolts (page 89). 
 

 

Rotate  the  right  ascension  axis  and  declination  axis  Three  Position  Switch  to  the 
Balance position. 
 

 

Pull and rotate the transportation lock knob clockwise to the Balance position and 
make sure the worm and gear are disengaged by rotating both axis a few degrees 
back and forth.
