NOTE: The TIM1500-24 utilizes both rows of RJ21 connectors on the 12000E and
4000E. The TIM1500-12 utilizes only the A connectors on the 12000E (lower row)
and 4000E (left side).
12000 and 4000
Each interface module slot on the 12000 and 4000 has one corresponding RJ21
port located on the back of the chassis, which connects TIM1500 T1 ports 1–12.
Although the TIM1500-24 can function in an 12000 or 4000, you will not be able to
utilize ports 13–24; the 12000 and 4000 do not have the second row of B
connectors necessary to support additional T1 ports.
For the TIM1500-24,
connect a cable to
both the A and B
connectors.
For the TIM1500-12,
connect a cable to
the A connector
only.
