Hook Switch Control

Allows the modem to go off-hook or on-hook.

Modem goes on-hook.

Modem goes off-hook.

Identification

Provides useful information when upgrading or servicing the product.

Displays product code (default is 144).

Displays 3-digit firmware revision number.

Performs an EPROM check.

Displays serial number.

Displays model number.

Displays hardware part number.

Displays software part number.

Displays country code.

Displays 3-digit firmware revision number (same as

1).

Allows you to change the value displayed by

10=0 causes

0 to display 144 (default).

10=1 causes

0 to display 240.

10=2 causes

0 to display 480.

10=3 causes

0 to display 960.

10=4 causes

0 to display 120.

Displays the program memory checksum.

Displays the last eight critical errors; the first is the most recent. (Support personnel use only.)

Displays the entire firmware revision number.



Speaker Volume

Adjusts speaker volume.

L, L0

Selects low volume.

Selects medium volume.

Selects high volume.



Speaker On/Off

Turns speaker on and off.

M, M0

Speaker always Off.

Speaker on until carrier signal is detected.

Speaker always ON.



Return to Online or Data Mode

Returns modem to Data mode from Online Command mode.



Pulse Dial

Sets the modem for Pulse Dial mode. See D command.
