Control Unit 

 

The control unit supplies power to the antenna and allows the user to disarm/arm 

geofence with the keyswitch.  On most applications, the control unit should have power 

24/7.  That is, there should always be a light on the control unit.  The keyswitch should 

be armed whenever the vessel is to be left alone.  When it is armed the geofence is 

initialized and Alarm Notifications from the External input can be sent.  When the vessel 

is being taken out, turn the keyswitch off.  Whether the system is armed or not, the daily 

position report will still transmit.  Please reference Figures 4 and 5 below for a 

description of the two states of the control unit.
