Installing the Sprint PCS Connection
Manager Software
Follow the instructions below to install the Sprint PCS
Connection Manager Software from the installation CD.
This process requires you to restart your PC at the end of the
installation; therefore, we recommend that you quit all open
applications before you begin the installation. The Sprint PCS
Connection Manager Software automatically determines your
PC’s operating system and installs all appropriate software.
Note:
Administrative privileges may be required for software
installation.
Installing the Sprint PCS Connection Manager Software and the
Sprint Mobile Broadband Card driver:
1. Insert the installation CD into your CD-ROM drive.
The CD should autostart and display a menu.
2. If the CD does not autostart, select Start > Run and type
d:\Sprint PCS Connection Manager.msi (where d is the
letter of your CD-ROM drive).
3. From the CD start-up window, select Install Sprint PCS
Connection Manager . This will launch the InstallShield ®
Wizard.
4. The License Agreement window appears. Read and then
click
Yes to accept the agreement and proceed with the
installation.
5. Select Sprint Mobile Broadband Card and click Next on
the
“
Select your card
”
screen.
