The
PANORAMAdtv
HDMon Series
of video monitors offer an extremely flexible and quality solution to the monitoring
of diverse analog and digital video, including
HD-SDI
,
SD-SDI
,
DVI
,
composite
,
Y-Pb-Pr,
S-Video
, and
RGBHV
video
sources. All models may be used on a flat surface or installed into an industry standard
EIA 19”
wide rack with an optional
rackmount kit.
The
HDMon Series
is comprised of a number of models featuring different screen sizes. The TFT/LCD screens used are
of exceptionally high quality with up to
85 degrees
of off-axis viewing without the image and color distortions normally
associated with LCD displays. These LCD displays offer superb motion plus advanced user adjustable scaling and motion
interpolation for standard definition images.
Problems such as inter-field “jaggies”, mosquito, smear and blending are minimized with our Motion Adaptive Algorithm.
In this process, motion of each Pixel is analyzed for any movement using a motion adaptive processes (3D) for changes
in horizontal, vertical, and diagonal directions. Even though the
HDMon Series
is primarily designed for
1080 line
HD
applications,
525/625-line
SD
and
720-line HD
images are easily displayed by enlargement of the image to fill the screen.
Our advanced I/P system incorporates user selected noise reduction to further analyze each pixel in the enlargement and
interpolation process producing superb images regardless of native resolution. Each signal format can be viewed in the
native resolution using our one-to-one pixel display prior to enlargement.
A wide range of parameters are available for on-screen or remote adjustment including channel isolate, overscan,
underscan, power saving auto off, automatic and manual color temperature, interpolation process (
IP
), auto source
search. auto setup, dual picture-in-picture (
PIP
) display, vector/waveform and signal analysis display, CRT color profile
match, and triple gamma select.
The integrated
100Base T Ethernet
and
RS232
connections provide full remote control via our included
Windows
based
GUI
software application, or you may use our new line of modular designed and configurable audio monitors in
addition to on board controls. Control is even possible with remote systems from other manufacturers. By networking,
a large monitor wall can be easily accessed for control and setup functions. By using a master set-up file, the same
settings can be programmed on all similar models.
Inputs on the rear panel include from one to two
HD/SD-SDI
multi-rate inputs (with re-clocked outputs) on
BNC
connectors, one
composite
(
CVBS
) input on
BNC
connector, one
S-Video
input on
6-pin mini-DIN
connector, one
VGA
(
PC-RGBHV
) input on
15-pin D-sub
connector, one
Digital Video
input on
DVI-D
connector, and one
Y-Pr-Pb
component
input on three
BNC
connectors. Other connectors on the rear panel include an
RJ-45
connector for ethernet
connection (
10 BASE-T/100 BASE-TX
),
9-pin D-sub
connector for serial connections to a
PC Windows
computer,
9-
pin D-sub
