1. Set the rotary switch to the position

With the function key SEL you switch between Resistance measurement
and Capacity measurement
2. Attach the pin-plug of the black test lead to the COM-jack and the
pin-plug of the red test lead to the multi-function jack.
3. Touch the measuring points with the probe tips.
4. Once the reading stabilizes, read the value.
Above 1MΩ the display may fluctuate for a few seconds before the exact
value is displayed.
Capacity measurement:
For capacitors with known polarity connect the red test lead with the anode
and the black test lead with the cathode. Once the reading stabilizes, read the
value.
Manual range selection is not possible.
Frequency measurement
1. Measure alternating voltage or alternating current as described above.
2. Press the Hz button (2.3). The display shows the frequency.
3. To deactivate this function, press the Hz-button. (2.3)
4. To perform variable frequency voltage measurements, press the SEL/V.F.C
button for two seconds in V-AC mode. To return to AC mode, press
SEL/V.F.C again.
Audible continuity / Diode testing
Attention!
Disconnect the power supply and unload all capacitors before you do the
measurement.

diode testing.
2. Attach the pin-plug of the black test lead to the COM-jack and the
pin-plug of the red test lead to the multi-function jack.
3. Touch the measuring points with the probe tips.
