Install the software without connecting the smart card reader to PC.
Using the floppy disk attached to the product, install the driver software.
Insert the floppy disk into the floppy disk drive of PC.
Execute the file “INSTALL.EXE” in the floppy disk.
Check that “INSTALL” is selected, and click on “OK”.
Install the software following the contents displayed on the screen.
Reboot the PC.
After reboot, check the state of the service of the smart card.
Open “Control panel” – “Tools” – “Service”
If the display of the control panel is “Category View”, “Tools” is in the following.

Next, double-click on “Smart Card” on the list, set “Start-up mode” to
“Auto”, press “Start button” and set “Service status” to “Start”.
Refer to the install manual in the CD-ROM for details of the installation method.
There are following ways to use the stand flaps.
Set up the stand flaps as shown in the right
figure.
Setting up/down the stand flaps cause some friction
sound, but it will cause no problem to the
performance of the product.
