Aim the Camera at the White Chart or the White Paper.

Adjust data with the ARROW key so that the vector
positions at the center of the Vectorscope as shown in Fig.
4-1-10.

Repeat adjustment from (10.1) to (10.2) until the vector
positions at the center of the Vectorscope.

Press the ENTER key for the next adjustment.
(11.1) White Balance 6500 ˚K ATW Limit R

Aim the Camera at the White Chart or the White Paper.

Change the colour temperature from 3 200 ˚K to 6 500 ˚K
by mounting colour temperature conversion filters on the
lens.

Adjust data with the ARROW key so that the vector
positions at shift by 10 % to the Cyan side of the
Vectorscope as shown in Fig. 4-1-11.

Press the ENTER key for the next adjustment.
(11.2) White Balance 6500 ˚K ATW Limit B

Aim the Camera at the White Chart or the White Paper.

Keep the colour temperature to 6 500 ˚K.

Adjust data with the ARROW key so that the vector
positions at shift by 10 % to the Cyan side of the
Vectorscope as shown in Fig. 4-1-11.

Repeat adjustment from (11.1) to (11.2) until the vector
positions at shift by 10 % to the Cyan side of the
Vectorscope.

Press the ENTER key for the next adjustment.
(12.1) 3200 ˚K R Gain Adjustment

Aim the Camera at the Colour Chip Chart.

Set the gain control of the Vectorscope to the normal
position.
8
Return the colour temperature from 6 500 ˚K to 3 200 ˚K
by removing colour temperature conversion filters from the
lens.

Adjust data with the ARROW keys so that the Red gain
becomes 220 % ± 5 % (Burst Level = 100 %).

Press the ENTER key for the next adjustment.
(12.2) 3200 ˚K B Gain Adjustment

Adjust data with the ARROW keys so that the Yellow gain
becomes 100 % ± 5 % (Burst Level = 100 %).

Press the ENTER key for the next adjustment.
(12.3) 3200 ˚K R Phase Adjustment
Test Point:

Adjust data with the ARROW keys so that the Red Vector
phase becomes 108˚ ± 2˚.

Press the ENTER key for the next adjustment.
(12.4) 3200 ˚K B Phase Adjustment

Adjust data with the ARROW keys so that the Yellow
Vector phase becomes 160˚ ± 8˚.

Repeat adjustment from (12.1) to (12.4) until both
Chrominance Phase and Gain are adjusted to proper
positions as shown in Fig. 4-1-12 and Table 4-1-1.
