Chapter 4 Fax/Email Settings

Example : LDAP Server

To search an Email address or a fax number on LDAP server, the following user parameter settings are
required.

Set the above items according to the descriptions below.

For details about LDAP search, refer to

Searching for a Destination

in the Operating Instructions (For

Facsimile and Internet Fax) of provided CD-ROM.

LDAP can be set up in one sequence of procedure at “

04 Network Settings

” of Key Operator Mode in the

General Settings (see page 12).

This feature is available in certain countries only.

LDAP Server Name (User Parameter 15)

This setting is required only when “

29 DNS Server Address

” in the General Settings is set to “

Yes

”.
