ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE

1. Test Equipments Required

The following Test Equipments are required for adjust-

ment of the Video Multiplexer WJ-FS216.

Underscanned Colour Video Monitor

Vectorscope

Waveform Monitor

Video Signal Generator

Colour Bar Signal

Ramp Signal (without Carrier)

Sweep Signal or Multi Burst Signal (more than 10MHz)

Oscilloscope

Frequency Counter

Digital Voltmeter

Black and White Camera

2. Disassembling Procedure for the

Adjustment

Referring to Fig. 2-1, remove six screws that secure the

Upper Cover and remove the Upper Cover.

3. Connection and Setting up for

Adjustment

3.1. Connection

Fig. 3-1 shows the connecting diagram for adjustment of

the WJ-FS216.

Fig 3-1

Remove six screws.

Upper Cover

Connect the Underscanned Colour Video Monitor through

the Vectorscope and Waveform Monitor to the Recording

Output Connector on the Rear Panel of the WJ-FS216.

Terminate the input terminal of the Underscanned Colour

Video Monitor with 75 

Ω

.

Connect the Signal Generator to the Camera Input

Connector 1 on the Rear Panel of the WJ-FS216.

Connect the prove of the Digital Voltmeter, Oscilloscope

or Frequency Counter at the desired Test Point in each

adjustment step.

3.2. Setting Up

This adjustment should be done after 30 minutes warm up

of the WJ-FS216.

Setting of the Switches for adjustment are as follows:

<Front Panel>

<Initial Setting>

Before start to adjust should be done with this Initial

Setting as follows:

Turn the Power Switch off. 

Turn the Power Switch on while pressing the Cursor (

)

button, the Character Selection Cursor (–) button and SET

button simultaneously, all LEDs on the Front Panel are lit

and enter the Initial Mode.

The Initial Menu 1 as shown in Fig. 3-2.
