Main Board
VR804 (Y DIVIDER)
Main Board
Supply the Composite Sync signal to the Playback Input
Jack on the Rear Panel of the WJ-FS28.
Connect the terminated Oscilloscope with 75
Ω
to the
Recording Output Jack on the Rear Panel of the WJ-
FS28.
Press the QUAD button on the Front Panel of the WJ-
FS28.
Adjust VR803 so that the Burst signal level becomes 300
± 14 mV as shown in Fig. 4-1.
Adjust VR804 so that the Y Divider signal level becomes
700 ± 14 mV as shown in Fig. 4-1.
Confirm that the Sync signal level becomes 300 ± 30 mV
as shown in Fig. 4-1.

1, 2 and 3 on the Rear Panel of the WJ-FS28.
Press the CH1 button on the Front Panel.
Connect the CH1 of the Oscilloscope to TP801 and CH2
of the Oscilloscope to TP802.
Trigger the Oscilloscope at TP801.
Adjust VR801 so that the rising edge of the RB HD Pulse
becomes within 0 ± 30 ns from the rising edge of the RA
HD Pulse as shown in Fig. 4-2.
Change the CH2 of the Oscilloscope to TP803.
Adjust VR802 so that the rising edge of the RC HD Pulse
becomes 0 ± 30 ns from the rising edge of the RA HD
Pulse as shown in Fig. 4-2.
Note: If the waveform distortions are not same, adjust
around 2.5 V DC.
