Initial setup
When you turn on this unit for the first time after
the purchase, the initial setting screen appears.

Tap the screen.

Select “Change language”, to change the
display language as needed.

Select “Connect to Wi-Fi”.
p
If you are not connecting to a wireless LAN,
select “Skip” and follow on-screen
instructions to compleate the initial setting.
p
If you are using a wireless broadband router
(an access point) that supports WPS (Wi-Fi
Protected Setup™), you can make the
settings with WPS. Refer to page 11.
A wireless broadband router (an access
point) is required for the initial setup.
p
A wireless connection is required when setting
up the Google Account.
p
You can use this unit with no Google Account.

Select a network you want to
connect to.
p
For more information on network names,
refer to the manual of the wireless
broadband router (an access point) or ask it
to the network administrator.

If the network you want to connect to does
not appear, select “Add Wi-Fi network” and
enter required information.

Tap a text field and enter the
password, and then select
“Connect”.
p

the manual of the wireless broadband router
(an access point) or ask it to the network
administrator.

Select “Next”.
