Changing the address of all the indoor units on the system
In a system with link wiring, it is possible to change the address of the indoor units on the same refrigerant tubing
system from an arbitrary wired remote controller.
In this method all the indoor units under the link wiring are stopped.
In a system without link wiring, it is possible to change the address of indoor units on the same refrigerant tubing
system from an arbitrary wired remote controller within that refrigerant tubing system (other systems cannot be
changed). In this case the indoor units on that system are stopped.
Press the time setting
button and the
button simultaneously for
longer than 4 seconds. Initially “System
” and “Item code
” (ad-
dress change code) are displayed.
Using the
button or the
button, select the system address.
( * Depending upon the model there may be no
button.)
Press the
button.
• The address of the indoor unit connected to the refrigerant tubing of the
selected outdoor unit is displayed.
• The address of the current indoor unit is displayed in “Setting data”, and
fan of the displayed indoor unit starts to operate.
Using the
button, select the indoor unit address to change. The
fan of the selected indoor unit operates.
Using the time setting
or
button, change the indoor unit address in
“Setting data”. (the setting range is from 0001 - 0048)
Press the
button.
The remote controller display changes from
fl
ickering to lit up.
Repeat the operations - , and change the indoor unit address without
causing any duplication.
After the changes are complete, press the
button and re-check
the changes made to the indoor unit addresses. (The unit No. - is the
value before the changes. Check from the value of the setting data.)
If any changes are needed return to “ ”.
Press the
button. (be sure to press this before completion)
The remote controller display changes from
fl
ickering to lit up.
Press the
button. This completes the setting.
• To change the address of an indoor unit on a separate system on the same
link, repeat the operations - .
Note: If an address is duplicated by mistake the error message “
” is
displayed. In this case repeat the automatic addressing operation.
