In this manual, "proprietary telephone" ("PT") means an analog proprietary telephone (APT).
A Panasonic proprietary telephone (PT) and
single line device (such as a fax machine,
modem, SLT, or wireless SLT) can be
connected to one extension jack in parallel.
These devices share the same extension
number.

A caller can be directed to the desired party
simply by pressing a single-digit number as
directed by the 3-level outgoing messages
(OGMs).
