Face Plate Removing

Turn off the power.

Press
[OPEN]
. The face plate will be opened.

Push the face plate to the left.

Pull it out toward you.
5
Put the face plate in the case.
Note
: Do not put the face plate other than the direction
shown at below figure, since this may result in dif-
ficulty when closing the case cover.
Face Plate Mounting

Fit the face plate with its left hole on the left
pin provided on the main unit.

Fit the other hole on the other pin applying
slight pressure.
Face Plate Removal Alarm
This alarm sounds to warn you not to forget to remove
the face plate before leaving your car. This function is
activated when security alarm is set to ON.

[MENU]
.

Press
[VOL] (PUSH SEL),
and turn
[VOL]
clockwise or counterclockwise to select
“ALARM SET”.

Press
[VOL] (PUSH SEL),
and turn
[VOL]
clockwise or counterclockwise to select.
ALARM OFF (default)

Note
: Once rotary operation is made, the setting is
activated.
This unit is equipped with a removable face plate. Removing this face plate makes the unit totally inoperable.
Notes

Do not touch the contacts on the face plate and the main unit. Failure to observe this may cause poor contact.
¡
If dirt or other foreign objects deposit on the contacts, wipe them off with a clean and dry cloth.
