8.28.1. Assembly of Voltage Regulator IC

(IC2761)

Step 1 :

Apply grease to heat sink.

Step 2 :

Mount the Voltage Regulator IC (IC2761) onto the

Main P.C.B..

Caution :

Ensure all pins are seated properly.

Step 3 :

Fix 1 screw to attach the Voltage Regulator IC

(IC2761) to the Heat Sink.

Step 4 :

Solder the pins of the Voltage Regulator IC (IC2761)

on the reverse side of the Main P.C.B..

Caution :

Before soldering, ensure all pins are properly seated

and no ‘floating’ of pins.

Desolder pins of Switch Transistor (Q2751) on reverse

side of Main P.C.B..

Step 2 :

Remove 1 screw.

Step 3 :

Remove Switch Transistor (Q2751) from the heat sink.

Caution :

Avoid touching the Heat Sink during replacement

due to its hight temperature as it may lead to injuries/shock.
