[COOLING CONDITION]
Change the fan control depending on the direction of projection.
Set [COOLING CONDITION] correctly in accordance with the direction of projection referencing the following figure. Using the light source with
incorrect settings may shorten its life.

to select a cooling condition.
4) Press the <ENTER> button.
5) When the confirmation is displayed, select [OK] or [CANCEL], and press the <ENTER> button.
[ECO MANAGEMENT]
A function that optimizes the light source power to suit usage conditions to reduce power consumption.
Setting [LIGHT POWER]
1) Press

to select [ECO MANAGEMENT].
2) Press the <ENTER> button.

to select [LIGHT POWER].

to switch [LIGHT POWER].

The items will switch each time you press the button.
[NORMAL]
Sets when high luminance is required.
[ECO SAVE1]
Reduces the power by approximately 20 % in average compared to [NORMAL] without affecting the
brightness.
[ECO SAVE2]
Reduces the power by approximately 30 % in average compared to [NORMAL], minimizing reduction
in brightness.
[LOW]
Sets this when you want to save more power without the need for high brightness.

The rate of power consumption reduction when the eco save mode is set refers to the ratio of average power consumption when a
“Broadcast” video signal that complies with IEC62087 is projected.

When [ECO SAVE1] and [ECO SAVE2] is set, the image may appear differently to [NORMAL].

If you feel that the brightness has decreased with [ECO SAVE2], switching to [ECO SAVE1] may improve the image.

When [LOW] is set, the operating noise can be reduced.

When the VIDEO input is selected, [ECO SAVE1] and [ECO SAVE2] cannot be selected. When [ECO SAVE1] or [ECO SAVE2] is set while
selecting other than VIDEO input, and when the VIDEO input is selected, [LOW] is set.

When [NATURAL] is selected in [PICTURE MODE], and [ECO SAVE1] or [ECO SAVE2] is selected in [LIGHT POWER], the image may not
conform to sRGB standards.

When [REC709] is selected in [PICTURE MODE], and [ECO SAVE1] or [ECO SAVE2] is selected in [LIGHT POWER], the image may not
conform to Rec.709 standards.

When [DICOM SIM.] is selected in [PICTURE MODE], and [ECO SAVE1] or [ECO SAVE2] is selected in [LIGHT POWER], the image may
appear different from the image of DICOM standards.

Cannot be selected when viewing 3D videos. This is fixed to [NORMAL].
