Replacing the unit

Replacement of the air filter unit

Turn off the projector, and unplug the

1 )

AC power cord from the AC outlet.
Clean up the dust on the projector and

2 )

around the air vents.

Press ▼ downwards on the filter cover

3 )

to release the latch and open the filter

cover.

Pull out the air filter unit.

4 )

Pick the tab and frame of the air filter unit,

release the lock with pressing the tab rightwards

in the figure, and then pull.

Attach the air filter unit.

5 )

Hold the air filter unit that the tab is in left side in

the figure, put the right side in the figure first, and

press the tab side until make a click sound.

Close and press up to lock the filter cover.

6 )

Make sure that the air filter cover is closed tightly.

Reset the filter counter.

7 )

Turn on the power and perform [Filter counter reset]

in the [Setting] menu.

Attention

Turn off the power before you replace the air filter unit.

When attaching the air filter unit, make sure that the projector is stable, and work in an environment that is

safe, even in the event of the air filter unit dropping.

Do not operate the projector with the air filter unit removed. Dust may accumulate on the optical elements

degrading picture quality.

Do not put anything into the air vents. Doing so may result in malfunction of the projector.

The air filter unit to be replaced should be an unused product.
