5. TROUBLESHOOTING

Remedy
General Condition
- Plug is not held with the outlet firmly.
(Plug is loose)
- House circuit is troubled.
- Wire attached to the machine is torn.
- Switch off circuit breaker and hold
the plug tightly or replace the outlet.
- Replace fuse or reset circuit breaker.
- Replace the wire.
- The machine cannot be operated.
Washing System
- The contact of wash timer is broken
down.
- Motor coil is torn.
- Capacitor is short or torn.
- The welded wire at the feet of wash
timer is detached.
- Wire is torn.
- Replace wash timer.
- Replace motor.
- Replace capacitor.
- Weld the wire again.
- Attach the wire firmly or replace it.
- Motor makes noise and cannot be
operated and started.
- Spinner is stuck or locked.
- Capacitor motor is shot or torn.
- Repair the stuck part or remove the
obstruction.
- Replace capacitor.
- Wash motor can spin only one way. - The two-way contact of wash timer is
broken down.
- Replace wash timer.
- Wash motor spins two ways but
takes a very long time for each way.
- The contact of wash timer is broken
down.
- Replace wash timer.
- The machine cannot clean clothes
efficiently.
- The quantity of water and clothes are
not in balance.
- The belt is loose.
- Instruct users on the method.
- Fix or replace the belt or adjust the
space for motor assembling.
- Clothes are torn.
- The distance between the spinner
and the drum is not right.
- The screw head of spinner may still
be sharp.
- The amount of water is not enough.
- Adjust the spinner to be at the same
level as the drum.
- Blunt the edge or replace the screw.
- Add more water in order that clothes
can float and can be spinned easily.
- Spin extractor shakes.
- The machine is placed on an
unsecured surface.
- Outer tube buffer A is broken down.
- Unbalanced load of clothes are placed
in the spin extractor.
- The central shaft of spin extractor
rubs against the matters fallen into
outer tub cover.
- Install the machine on a secured
surface.
- Replace the outer tube buffer A.
- Adjust suspension to get balance.
- Remove the fallen matters.
- Drain valve cannot be closed.
- Foreign matters block between valve
frame and valve packing.
- Valve packing is broken down.
- The screw, which attaches the motor
pulley, is loose.
- Remove valve lid assembly and
remove the foreign matters.
- Replace the whole set of valve
packing.
- Screw it tightly.
- Water leaks.
Others
- Outer tube buffer A is broken down.
- Drain hose is torn.
- Overflow tube is broken.
- Tub A is broken.
- Replace the outer tube buffer A.
- Replace the hose.
- Replace the overflow tube.
- Replace the tub A.
- Spin extractor does not turn.
Water extracting System
- Spin extractor’s lid opens.
- Breaker is stuck.
- Brake shoe is detached or torn.
- Safety switch is not placed in the
right position.
- Capacitor motor is shot or torn.
- Motor coil for water extracting is torn.
- Screw attached to brake wheel is
loose.
- Spin timer is broken down.
- The welding spot of spin timer or
capacitor is detached.
- Coupling shaft is wrapped with
foreign matters.
- Close the spin extractor’s lid.
- Adjust the space between brake
wheel and brake pad which can be
done at brake shoe.
- Attach brake shoe or replace it.
- Adjust the position.
- Replace hange the capacitor motor.
- Replace the motor.
- Screw it tightly.
- Replace the spin timer.
- Weld the spot again.
- Remove the foreign matters.
- Wash motor cannot be operated.
