When Necessary
Troubleshooting
(continued)
Symptoms
Check the following.
Rinse/Spin
Rinsing water is not
supplied.
If “Rinse” or “Rinse/Spin” is selected, the operation starts with water discharge if
water remains in the drum, and starts with spin if there is no water in the drum,
and then water is supplied.
During spin, the
operation changes
to “Rinse”.
If clothes are unevenly distributed, this may be automatically corrected, returning
to the “Rinse” cycle.
Spin is not
performed during
the “Spin” cycle.
The appliance detangles clothes for nice fi nish during the spin cycle.
When using the “Soak” or “ECONAVI (60 °C)” program for “Wash”, the fan operation is
performed in the middle of the spin cycle to remove moisture. This is not a malfunction.
Clothes are not wet
after washing.
In the following operation, thin fi bres, etc. may be dried when they are taken out
after washing.
• When operating the “Soak” or “ECONAVI (60 °C)” program for “Wash” (Moisture
is removed by fan operation)
Display
Washing time is
longer than the
displayed time.
If clothes are unevenly distributed, this is automatically corrected, leading to
longer operation time. This tends to occur especially when the amount of clothes
is too large or small.
Check the water drain hose and drain outlet. (P.45 “U11”)
In the following cases, excessive bubbles may be formed, and the operation time
may become longer to remove bubbles.
• Using large amount of detergent
• Using excessive foaming detergent
• Light soil on clothes
→Reduce the amount of detergent.
The total remaining
time diff ers from
the remaining time
of each process.
The “Soak” and “ECONAVI (60 °C)” programs detangle clothes for a slightly
longer time after the spin operation has fi nished.
Because of this, the total remaining time display may diff er from the remaining
time for the spin cycle displayed in the display window when the “Spin” button is
pressed.
Still operating
although the
remaining time
shows “0”.
After the drying operation has fi nished, the “Anti-crease” operation is performed
(approx. 2 hours) to prevent creases. (P.11)
The detergent
indication is
incorrect.
If water is in the drum, the indication may not be correct.
If clothes in the laundry net or wet clothes are in the drum, the indication may not
be correct due to balance of clothes.
→Load the laundry again (after detangling the clothes), and perform operation again.
The detergent amount
is not displayed.
For the “Bedding” and “Hand Wash” programs, the detergent amount is not
displayed because it is fi xed.

In the case of abnormality, contact the sales dealer immediately where you have purchased the appliance.
