REPLACEMENT OF MAIN PARTS
4. Remove the screw and separate cord reel unit from the
cord reel support. (Fig. 21)
5. Replace cord reel unit with a new one. Then reassemble it
together with the cord reel support and refasten the screw.
NOTE: Before reinstall the cord reel assembly, wind up the
power supply cord extra times, as indicated on the spring
plate, to maintain the cord reel spring efficiency.
6. Place the cord reel assembly and connect according to the
schematic diagram. Then reassemble the remaining parts
in the reverse order.

CORD REEL UNIT / POWER SUPPLY CORD
(1) Cord reel unit
1. Remove upper body as explained previously in paragraph
(1) "Motor", points 1-2.
2. Remove the power supply cord cover and disconnect the
two lead wires (provided with quick-connect terminal) from
the contact springs tabs. (Fig.20)
3. Take out cord reel assembly and unwind the power supply
cord extra times to release the cord reel spring.
(2) Power supply cord
1. Remove cord reel unit as described previously in paragraph
(1) "Cord reel unit" , points 1-4.
2. Unwind the total power supply cord length from the cord reel.
3. Press and release the stopper in the cord reel and lift up the
rail base by pushing it lower end. (Fig. 22)
4. Disconnect the power supply cord from the rail base and
replace it with a new one.
NOTE: Observe the colour of the power supply cord lead
wires before reinstalling the new one. (Fig. 23)
5. Insert the rail base into the cord reel slot. (Fig. 24)
6. Wind up the total power supply cord length in the arrow
direction, as indicated on the spring plate.
NOTE: Put Vaseline on the rail base before assembling the
cord reel support.
7. Assemble cord reel unit together with the cord reel support
and refasten the screw.
NOTE: Wind up the power supply cord extra times as indi-
cated on the spring plate, to maintain the cord reel spring
efficiency.
8. Connect the lead wires according to the schematic diagram
and reassemble the remaining parts in the reverse order.
