C-9 Dust

sensor

The dust sensor indicator automatically informs you

of the cleaning conditions. When dust is present in

the air being vacuumed the red indicator lights and

remains lit until the air being vacuumed is free of

dust, the red light then changes to green indicating

that the air is clean. The dust sensor may not operate

correctly if the air

fl

dust build-up on the sensors.

Red

 light : Dust is present

Green

 : clean air

 •

Check the suction pipe inlet and hose for any

blockage and remove the obstruction.

 •

If the sensors are very dusty, clean them using a soft

dry duster.

NOTE:

The dust sensor indicator may light up when

there is no dust present.

This can occur when the cleaner is

used in areas where there is strong

electromagnetic

fi

 eld, for example if

your house is situated near a TV or radio

transmitter.

This can occur when the dust sensors are

exposed to sunshine or strong light without

hose connection pipe.

This is not a malfunction of the vacuum

cleaner.
