7.2.

Checking Method of Drive Circuit

• It is a circuit operation and a check method when optional external live viewfinder (DMW-LVF1) is attached.

[Circuit Operation]

• When DMW-LVF1 is attached, DMC-GF2 supplies the power supply, the drive signal, and clock signals, etc. to DMW-LVF1.

1. When DMW-LVF1 is attached, 17pin of FP9005 becomes 'Lo' (GND). -------- [1]
2. IC6001(VENUS) detects the installation by IC6011(BUS BUFF). -------- [2]
3. 2, 5, 19, and 6pin of IC6004 are 'Hi' according to signal from IC6001 at DMW-LVF1 display mode. -------- [3]
4. 2.5V is outputted from 5pin of IC9003. -------- [4]
5. 5V is outputted from 3pin of QR9002. -------- [5]
6. The drive signal is outputted from 11-18pin of IC9001. -------- [6]
7. Clock signals etc. are outputted from 3, 6, 8, and 11pin of IC9009. -------- [7]
8. The display changes whenever the [LVF/LCD] switch button of DMW-LVF1 is pressed. -------- [8]

* As for the switch with the [LVF/LCD] button, the power supply of DMC-GF2 of turning off is maintained.
