To the lower right of the MESSAGE or SLOW TALK button, two long buttons are in a horizontal
row. The right one is the MEMO button. The MEMO button is also the 2WAY REC button. The left
one is the ERASE button.
To the lower left of the MESSAGE or SLOW TALK button, two long buttons are in a horizontal row.
The right one is the GREETING CHECK button. The left one is the GREETING REC button.
Below these buttons is the keypad laid out in the conventional telephone arrangement with a “nib”
on the 5 button. To the right of the telephone keypad, are four oval buttons in a vertical column: the
top one is the REDIAL button. Below is the FLASH button, which also works as the CALL WAIT
button. The third one is the MUTE button. The fourth is the HOLD button.
Below these buttons, is the half-circle SP-PHONE button, which is slightly angled, with an indicator
on the upper left.
To the left of the SP-PHONE button, are three oval buttons in a horizontal line. The left one is the
LOCATOR button. The LOCATOR button is also the INTERCOM button. Two right buttons next to
the LOCATOR button are VOLUME buttons. Between the LOCATOR button and VOLUME buttons
is the IN USE or INTERCOM indicator.
The base unit microphone is located at the bottom of the base unit just below the SP-PHONE button.
