Installation Manual

Note

•

To avoid dedicating a trunk to the internal modem, you can connect the modem to the PBX
as you would a standard single line telephone (SLT). Off-site programming is possible if
trunk calls from the remote PC are routed to the extension port connected to the VPS
modem. Note that the effective data transfer rate of the internal modem (maximum 33 600
bps) will be subject to the throughput limitations of the PBX.

•

This modem is designed to interwork with the analogue Public Switched Telecommunication
Network (PSTN) of a European country.
