Setting the message indicator
The message indicator for the following
features must be “On”.

R To cancel a selected feature, press

Note:
R If the message indicator flashes when the
handset is not placed on the base unit,
battery consumption is faster than usual.
Eco mode setting
You can select the desired eco mode setting
by pressing
M R/ECO N .
The following settings are available for eco
mode.
–
“
Eco
” : Reduces the base unit transmission
power by up to 90 % in standby mode.
When this setting is selected,

displayed on the handset display instead of

– “
Eco Plus
” : Reduces the base unit
transmission power completely in standby
mode.
When this setting is selected, is
displayed on the handset display instead of
.
– “ Eco Off ” (default setting): Turns off eco
mode.
When this setting is selected,

Note:
R When there is another cordless phone in
use nearby, the base unit transmission
power may not be reduced.
R If the handset is registered to multiple base
units, the handset may not be able to make
or receive calls or communicate with the
base unit when the following conditions are
met.
– Eco mode is set to
“ Eco Plus ”
(page 17).
– Base unit selection is set to “
Auto
”
(page 27).
In this case, place the handset near the
base unit, then press
M R/ECO N and select
“
Eco
” or “
Eco Off
” . Repeat for each
base unit.
R When eco mode is active, the range of the
base unit is reduced in standby mode.
R If you set repeater mode to “
On
”

– Eco mode is disabled.

R If there is a handset that is not compatible
