Answering calls

Press MZN when the unit rings.
R You can also answer the mobile call by
pressing
M MOBILE 1 N or M MOBILE 2 N .

Speak into the microphone.

When you finish talking, press MZN .
Adjusting the base unit ringer volume
Press MDN or MCN repeatedly to select the
desired volume while ringing.
Note:
R The ringer volume you set is kept for each
line (landline and mobile lines).
Useful features during a
call
Hold

Press M HOLD N during an outside call.

To release hold on the mobile line:
Press M MOBILE 1 N or M MOBILE 2 N .
R A handset user can take the call:
M MOBILE N

corresponding mobile phone. a

– only 1 mobile phone is paired.
– a specific line is set to make
mobile calls (page 19).
To release hold on the landline:
Press MZN .
R A handset user can take the call by

Note:
R While a landline call is on hold, the
SP-PHONE indicator flashes.
R After holding for 10 minutes, the call is
disconnected.
Mute

Press M MUTE N during a call.
R The SP-PHONE indicator flashes.

To return to the call, press M MUTE N .
Note:
R M MUTE N is a soft key visible on the display
during a call.
Recall for landline calls
M RECALL N allows you to use the special
features of your host PBX such as transferring
an extension call, or accessing optional
telephone services.
Note:
R To change the recall time, see page 44.
For Call Waiting or Call Waiting
Caller ID service users for
landline calls
To use call waiting or Call Waiting Caller ID,
you must first subscribe with your phone
service provider. This feature allows you to
receive calls while you are already talking on
the phone. If you receive a call while on the
phone, you will hear a call waiting tone.
If you
subscribe to both Caller ID and Call
Waiting with Caller ID services,
the 2nd
caller’s information is displayed on the base
unit or handset that is in use after you hear the
call waiting tone.

call.
