Changing the Bluetooth PIN
(Personal Identification Number)
The PIN is used to pair cellular phones to the
base unit. The default PIN is
“ 0000 ” . To
prevent unauthorized access to this product,
we recommend that you change the PIN, and
keep it confidential.
Important:
R Please make note of your new PIN. The
unit does not reveal the PIN to you. If you
forget your PIN, see page 84.

changed), enter the current 4-digit PIN.

HD voice
This feature automatically enhances sound
quality to achieve high definition voice quality
during calls.
HD voice is activated automatically when:
– using the handset to make or answer a call
via cellular line.
Important:
R To make an HD voice call using a cellular
line, the cellular phone must support HD
voice. Please contact your cellular phone
service provider for details.
Note:
R The HD voice feature is deactivated
automatically in the following situations:
– using the base unit to make or answer a
call via cellular line *1
– making a call via landline
– making an intercom call
– using voice paging
– playing a message recorded on the
answering system
R When transferring an HD voice call from
handset to base unit, HD voice feature will
be deactivated automatically.
