Registering the handset to the KX-TG8070/KX-TG8090 base
unit
Make sure that the batteries are installed correctly.

Press and hold

on the base unit for about 5 seconds until a beep is heard.
• If all registered handsets start ringing, press

to stop, then repeat this
step.
• After a beep is heard, the rest of this procedure must be completed within 1
minute.

Note:
• The KX-TG8070 does not feature an answering system.
• Answering system features are available only when this handset is registered
to the KX-TG8090.
