Using the Alarms

Section 4

The charger unit features an alarm clock. You can set the alarm to
play the radio or to sound a buzzer at a set time.
The radio alarm and the buzzer alarm can be set separately.

4-A Setting the Radio Alarm

Press

[AM/FM, RADIO]

to turn the radio on.

Press

[AM/FM, RADIO]

to switch between AM and FM.

Tune in to the desired station by pressing 

[–, TUNE/CLOCK]

or

[+, TUNE/CLOCK]

.

OR
Press the desired memory button (

[M1]

to

[M5]

).

Adjust the volume by using the VOLUME control.

Press and hold 

[RADIO, ALARM

DISPLAY/SET]

(the button on the top of

the unit) until the time flashes.

Set the alarm time by pressing 

[–, TUNE/CLOCK]

or

[+, TUNE/CLOCK]

.

Pressing and holding 

[–]

or

[+]

changes

the time faster.

Press and release 

[RADIO, ALARM DISPLAY/SET]

to save the

radio alarm time and the station.

The time stops flashing and returns to the current time.

” is displayed while the radio alarm is turned on.

Press

[OFF]

to turn the radio off.

The radio will automatically turn on at the set time and will turn off
after 1 hour.

You can exit alarm setting mode any time by pressing 

[OFF]

.

The

 buzzer will sound at the set radio alarm time if you did not turn

the radio on in step 1.

To change only the radio alarm time

, repeat steps 5 to 7.

If a power failure occurs, the radio alarm time and station preset will
be retained for

about 10 minutes.

To confirm the radio alarm time and station: 

Press and release 

[RADIO, ALARM DISPLAY/SET]

.

The alarm time and the station will be displayed for about 3 seconds.

To stop the alarm temporarily (SNOOZE)

Press

[SNOOZE/MUTE]

.

The alarm will then start again in 6 minutes. You can press

[SNOOZE/MUTE]

again to stop the alarm.

To stop the alarm for the day 

Press

[OFF]

.

The setting remains and the alarm will sound daily until you stop
the alarm completely. “

the display. 

To stop the alarm completely

1. While the alarm is sounding or the SNOOZE mode is on, press

[OFF]

, then follow step 2.

OR
If the alarm is not sounding or the SNOOZE mode is not used, go
to step 2.

2. Press

[RADIO, ALARM ON/OFF]

or

[BUZZER, ALARM ON/OFF]

to turn the alarm off.

To turn the alarm on again
