9.3. Replacing P.C. Board of Base Unit with Used P.C. Board
The base unit can be repaired by replacing the P.C. board with the used P.C. board of KX-TG3521, KX-TG3522 or any other
compatible P.C. board.

The previous handset’s ID and user information are stored in the P.C. board of the substitute base unit.
They need to be cleared as follows.
9.3.1. For Models with Only 1 Handset Included
Replace the P.C. board (a) by the normal P.C. board (b).
Erase the registration information of P.C. board (b).
• Refer to Deregistering All Handsets by the Base Unit (P.59).
Register the handset (A-1) to the base unit (A).
• Refer to Registering a Handset (P.58).
Reset the setting information existed in P.C. board (b).
• Press , , and keys of the handset (A-1) simultaneously until a confirmation tone is heard.
Note:
(*1) Make sure the service part no. written in the service manual if it is the compatible P.C. board.
