If a pause is required for dialing, (REDIAL/PAUSE) can be stored in a phone
number counting as one digit (p. 58) in step 5.

You can exit the programming mode any time by pressing (OFF)

If the display shows “
Directory full
” in step 2, the display will return to step
1, press (OFF) to exit the programming mode. To erase other stored items from
the directory, see page 54.
•
If an alarm tone sounds in step 7, the item cannot be stored in the directory.
Place the handset on the base unit and try again from step 1.
