Answering Intercom Calls
With the handset:
After the rings, press (INTERCOM)

or (SP-PHONE) .
To end the intercom, press (OFF/CLEAR) .
The paged handset shows:
—“
INTERCOM FROM BASE
” is displayed, when the base unit is paging a handset,
—“
GLOBAL CALL FROM BASE
” is displayed, when the base unit is paging all handsets,
—“
INTERCOM FROM HANDSET 1
” is displayed, when one handset is paging
another (Ex. Handset 1 is paging another handset), or
—“
GLOBAL CALL FROM HANDSET 2
” is displayed, when one handset is paging
all units (Ex. Handset 2 is paging all units).
With the base unit:
When the other party’s voice is heard, talk into the MIC .
OR
When the base unit beeps, press
(DIGITAL!SP-PHONE) or
(LOCATOR/INTERCOM) then talk into the MIC .
To end the intercom, (LOCATOR/INTERCOM) .
