Useful Information

Before Requesting Help

Problem

The unit does not work.

“

” flashes and an alarm tone sounds

when you press .

A busy tone sounds when you
press

You cannot dial.

” flashes during a conversation and

the call is disconnected.

Static, sound cuts in/out, fades.
Interference from other electrical units.

The handset does not ring.

The base unit does not ring.

Remedy

Turn the power ON (p. 11).

Check the settings (p. 8–13).

Charge the batteries fully (p. 10).

Clean the charge contacts and charge again (p. 10).

Unplug the AC adaptor and turn the power OFF to

reset. Plug in the AC adaptor and turn the power ON.
Then try again.

The handset has been canceled or has not been

registered. Register the handset (p. 35).

Re-install the handset batteries and try again.

You are too far from the base unit. Move closer and

try again.

Plug in the AC adaptor.

Another handset is in use.

The unit is in call prohibition mode. Cancel the mode
(p. 27).

The dialed number is restricted. Cancel the number

(p. 28).

Key lock mode is set. Cancel the mode (p. 22).

The handset is out of range. Move closer to the base

unit and make the call again.

Plug in the AC adaptor.

Locate the handset and base unit away from other
electrical appliances (p. 3).

Move closer to the base unit.

Turn the power ON (p. 11).

The ringer is set to OFF. Select the desired volume

level (p. 12).

The ringer is set to OFF. Set to HIGH, MEDIUM or

LOW (p. 13).
