1.11 Using User-supplied Equipment

1.11.1 If a Doorphone/Door Opener is Connected

You can talk to a person at the door through the doorphone. Preprogrammed extensions or an outside party
can receive the calls from the doorphone. You can open the door.

Opening a Door (Door Open)

When connecting a

KX-NTV150

or

KX-NTV160

:

It can be registered to the NSX server as a Communication IP Camera or Video Door
Phone. KX-NTV100 series are SIP extensions with a call button and a camera, and they
can make and receive calls in the same way as other SIP extensions.

–

It is treated as a SIP extension, then the doorphone number is not assigned. The
following doorphone control with doorphone number is not available.

•

To call the doorphone [*33] + [doorphone no.]

•

Opening a door (Door open) from specified extension [*55] + [doorphone no.]

–

It is necessary to register the unit to the

V-SIPEXT

card as a SIP phone.

–

It is not necessary to associate the unit with a user container.

–

It is necessary to configure the Optional IP Device settings.

–

Camera control by key pad (dialling) operation is possible only for

KX-HDV

series P-SIP

phones, and third party SIP phones compatible with RFC8233.

–

P2P communication between the

KX-NTV150

/

KX-NTV160

and the connected devices is

necessary for camera control.
