Feature Selection
Sending a fax at a specified
time
MBNM 2 NM 5 N
This feature allows you to take advantage of low-cost calling hours offered by
your telephone company. This feature can be set up to 24 hours in advance of
the desired time.

To send a document:
1.
Insert the document.
2. If necessary, press MJN or MKN repeatedly to select the desired resolution
(page 27).

5. Enter the fax number. A M SET N
6. Enter the transmission start time.
R If you select 12-hour time entry (page 19), press MGN repeatedly to select
AM or PM.
R If you select 24-hour time entry (page 19), the time is set using 24-hour
time entry.

R To cancel after programming, press M STOP N then M SET N .
Setting the Caller ID list to
print automatically

” (default): The Caller ID list will not be printed automatically, but the
base unit will keep a record of the information for the last 50 callers.

” : The Caller ID list will be printed automatically each time the base unit
logs 50 callers (page 24).
Setting the time adjustment

Using this feature, the unit’s date and time setting will be automatically adjusted
when caller information is received.

” : The date and time setting will be automatically adjusted.

MANUAL
” (default): Deactivates this feature.
Setting the quick scan
MBNM 3 NM 4 N
This feature is helpful when you want to remove the document for other uses,
because the unit will release the document before sending or copying.

OFF
” (default): Deactivates this feature.
M 1 N “
ON
” : The unit will scan the document and store it into memory first, then
the unit will start sending or copying the documents.
Note:
R If the document exceeds the memory capacity, sending of the whole
document or copying of the exceeded document will be cancelled and this
feature will be turned OFF automatically.
