KV-SSM100/KV-SS1100 Network Scanner Adapter Administrator’s Guide

Firmware Update

The KV-SSM100/KV-SS1100 firmware may periodically require updating, as adapter features and functions are enhanced. There are
two ways to perform the update, via USB drive or the Admin Tool web page. You will need access to the update file, e.g.,

KV-SS1100_

update_ 1.1.1916.0.dsu

. The update process does not affect saved settings, just updates the firmware to the latest build.

Update via USB Drive:

Download update file

Insert USB drive

into an open port on the adapter.
