2. Setting Up Your Phone

Note:

You need to know the PSD bin number for PSD number in order to assign a

name to it. To determine the bin number, see “Checking Speed Dial Numbers” on
page 54.

Note:

This task requires a display phone.

Pick up the handset or press the

ON/OFF

key.

Press the

PROG

key.

Press the

key.

Enter

for the Name Assignment mode.

Press the

VOLUME

key until the desired PSD bin number (

) is displayed.

Press the

FL/R

key to clear the current/default data.

For a

small-display

phone (see Figure 17 on page 31 for an example):

Press the appropriate one-touch key for the desired group of letters.

Use the bottom row of FF keys to define your selection.

Repeat steps a-b as many times as necessary to enter the desired name.

• Press the

key to erase an entry.

• Press the

key to enter a space.

Press the appropriate soft key next to the desired row of letters.
